SP in pain.... - hsar

...e.g. acute abdomen pain (apendicitis, peritonitis, etc), and has pain even with light palpation, do we still attempt deep palpation? What to do for McBurney's point tenderness or Murphy's sign?

yes. quickly explain the need for deep palpation and forewarn the patient before the deep palpation tests
