Where should I mention observership/externship - sow

Where should I mention observership/externship in work experience tab? Do we need to mention it on the 'position' ?? Please guide me.

in work experience. mention what ever mentioned by the hospital where you did the observership/externship. if you had direct patient contact but hospital gave you observership certificate then mention as observer and in the description state that as an observer i was also in direct patioent contact

mention it under experience. It has worked for me quite successfully
