Obturator/kernig's sign draping technique - csgirl

hey guys, I know tht we aint suppose to expose the patient below the leg, but just confused about the draping technique for ths 2 test, becuse in these test, we tend to rotate the leg n if the patient is not wearing pants, it will be exposed even if we have put the sheath(drape) on the top.....how does this wrk...can sumone please explain ....digi_doc plzzz

Very simple doctor, remember this and you will have no doubt, confusion or worries;
"you should only see the part that is being examined". That ought to answer your question. If you are not examining any body part, it should be covered by the gown or the sheet, drape. This is not anything difficult or special, just courtesy against being left nude, so to speak.
