Hi everybody, I already passed both Step1 and CK with good scores on first attempt, now looking forward to getting into a clinical research group before applying for residency.
Please could somebody give me guidance, like a list of hospitals offering research positions for IMGs ?

I have a 2 years Visa for the US . but its a tourist Visa.

Any input would be welcome .

depends on your interest. What residency do you want to get into? Also, if you get a spot, you cannot get paid because of your visa.

jam1729 Thanx for your input, concerning residency I am looking for IM later on, but first I'd like to get familiar with the system and have some LORs as well, I dont care about money I dont wanna get payed neither do I need to work during that Observership periode.

Please is there any hospital list I can e-mail ?

Email ur CV to faculty involved in clinical research. You have to visit websites of big university hospitals to see who is involved in clinical research and let them know u would like to volunteer...send as many emails as u can and if you get lucky some one might give you the golden oppurtunity. Next check with your alumni doing residency if they have research in their hospitals...
