I will apply to some neuro programs tomorrow...how many are you guys applying to? and how many IM?

i applied 54 programs...n that depends some are 4 yrs that include 1 year of IM and others are advanced where u alredy need 1 yr IM....

I dont think so it is less competitive...in my view it is more competitive these days as many amg are applying nowadays...not to discourage any one..but it is a fact..

@rahulr: if the program is advanced it is necessary that you should have couple of prelimn ivss..other wise..its not necessary if you are applying to all categorical

n neurology is these days less competetive than IM if u have good credentials...
