I feel there is a mixup here. I'm not sure there's an Appleton and Lange's Behavioral Science Book per se. If there is, I'm not familiar with it. Hopefully, someone will comment on that.

There's an Appleton and Lange's Q & A USMLE Step 1 Book, with chapters covering all subjects of step 1, including Behavioral Science. I can't give an opinion on that one because I've not read it.

Last one (but not least) that I think you could be referring to is BRS Behavioral Science by Barbara Fadem. If that is what you're referring to, then, by all means do read it if you have the time. Many of those who read it and took the test recommend it for the exam. I think it covers more ground in behavioral science.
