hi all i got my result today time to give back to forum

materials used : UW qbank and ccs, MTB, few topics Jason (Thanks to Sami for that), though many say Archer's ccs is good i dint find it useful.

Prep time : on and off for 3 months but seriously last month ( dont listen to people who say they read for a week and got 99 or a month and 99 though few might get it who r recent ck exam takers but usually not)

In exam : MCQ's were ok but time management is very imp esp for ED blocks, i think i got 5min left at the end of ED blocks and 10min at the end of office blocks while i had around 20min at the end of each block in step 2CK.

CCS: all cases were easy..... u can find then in UW or in the forum.... U'll have lot of time during CCS so think carefully and enter everything in order....... no need to hurry.... in case of surgery pts consult surgery and they will accept the pt and u'll get the management clues from there.

UWSA 530 3wks before exam
NBME 640 1wk before exam
real exam 94/223

finally done with USMLE..... Thanks to all the forum members Sami, Bonitapriyam and others who were supportive when i was tensed...... these exams are for sure physically and emotionally draining.

@Bingo: hey I need to give step 3 soon and I started studying for it a few days ago after submission of application. i want to gibe the exam by mid october. I am doing mtb, uw and ck notes that I studied from earlier.
Should I suscribe to archer videos?? I have the notes? Do they really help. I am not good with studying same thing from different places...Please help with your suggestions.

I just want to finish before interviews start. Thanks.

@vj6 if u are a starter and think you dont know anything about ccs, Archers might help but stiil you can get all the answers for ccs from the forum just browse previous threads....... this is not an easy exam sorry i dint mean to scare you i just want you to study hard..... I subscribed to archers just listened to first 6 hrs, first 3hrs is ok but then rest is just a repeat so i lost interest....... do all 90 uw ccs cases, cases from the forum and practise on primum.

If u mean Archer lectures then i listened to pulmonary lecture they were ok but i think what you are studying now is more than enough..... dont think about all other materials and waste ur time, while you can revise what you read.

@bingo: I might sound ignorant but what is primum and how can i get it? I did give CK in july so it still a little fresh and hopefully that will help. I will look up the cases the forum. What does archer's exactly offer? I have just been told by people to get it...what r the lectures on subjects or ccs cases? Thanks bing o and congratulations on getting a great score

@saddy9: well I am starting with step 3 mtb, then revising from step 2 Ck FA and doing uworld. not sure about archer's yet. my friend is supposed to send me the archers notes. i will forward them to you when she does. Hope it helps.

Also when exactly r u taking ur exam?
