most of my applications have been downloaded..

i am using last yr US LOR from IM .. but it was general LoR

This year. I the author using LWP can send Psychiatry specific LoR..

Do u think it is ok to do it?

If u submitted only 3 before then u can assign the new one.
If u already sent 4 to the programs, i dont know if we can send 5th letter by eras.

call up ECFMG.... they are helpful and can give advice.
I had something similar before 9/1 and they replaced previous letter with new letter when i called up and explained.

the ecfmg said they will replace.. but will it hurt from the programs point of view? out of 4 the one authors lor will be updated(author will be same)

I dont think it will hurt any as ur just updating the same authros latest lor
