I have recently taken step 1 and toefl. I am in U.S A. Can somebody please help me to decide whether I should take step 2 or CSA first .

You should know that for you to take the CSA you have to first pass Steps 1 and 2. The steps 1 and 2 are independent from each other, meaning that you can take either one in any order and that step 1 is not a prerequisite in taking step 2. I hope this is of help to you.

got that wrong

the only prerequisite for CSA is the Step1 of USMLE.......Step 2 is not required.....
Why r u so confused about this?
Take either first.....not like one is going to influence the other in any way

Thanks for your help . I want to apply for next match. I want to ask you how important it is for foriegn graduates to have step 2 scores when they apply for residency?I just started preparing for step 2 and don't know when I should take step 2 and Csa. I want to get the maximum time for study. Can u please help me in deciding the dates for step 2 and csa.
