Hypothetical situation.....many of us might have to face it.......very soon
Which option is better?
Go to home country apply for J1
or
Get F1 to J1 transferred.

Have been on F1 since January 2008. Used my OPT too..... same college I 20 havent changed any college......course not completed....few subjects remaining.............
Any chances of J1 getting rejected.....

Its better to go to home country.
For visa change it takes any where between 6 to 9 months.
So if ur matched in march u will get it dont in september if ur lucky enough august.
