How do you tell patient if they have heart attack (MI) or cancer/tumor? I heard if you tell directly to patient abt condition and they get shocked and giving hard time to examinee...is that correct?

Please answer..exam in a week

Hi
I passed the cs exam already few weeks ago actually a month ago. i used csevideo and first aid about a months time.

my advice to your question is
I dont think you want to give a sp a definite diagnosis in the cs becasue you are not yet able to see any test results like in the cs you will be telling the sp I need to run some test or send you for a ekg or mri then we will know more and I can give you a definitive diagnosis. so keep that in mind, you can alsways say right now Im not sure but would like to run some test and will be able to give you more accurate information.

i suggest you watch csevideo because they have alot of these kinds of questions in the videos. i used csevideo for a month and read the fa this is was a good plan so that when you are in the exam you have a better idea on how to answer challenging questions.
good luck

well, The right way to consel the patient.
Sayin that considering your history and exam I have a number of poossiblities for example.. You might be having a heart attack,Gerd,Pleuririts,
However, I need to run some tests to rule out the other possibiliteiss and reach one diagnosis so i cant treat you according to those lines.
and, If you really wanna break the news that someone has a heart attack
You can say Mr. YHY I am afraid your symp are pointing out that you might be haivng a heart attack right now.
I am going to do an EKG and run some blood tests and See what treatment we can offer you.
Do you have any ques for me?
