It sounds so comical to talk about..
It doesn't help much...If the program likes you (PD and other faculty members), they will rank you, if they don't...you won't be ranked. Period
I don't know why we are capitalizing the importance of rank letter, thank you letter, Valentine day wish.. bla bla.. All this are mathematical idiot

@azeb , we already know sending letters to pd n faculty members r not that much important ,it is just stress busting strategy.U r thinking too much n think negatives all the times ( barking to somebody in some posts). So i will advice u how to do if u dunt match , go n die whereever u like ,it's yr choice .This is my advice for pessimism, ok?
