I've been following this thread all morning and I thought it was a scam too but I sent it anyway knowing that God is on the right side.
So I took a deep breath and I sent my info to soniapatel and I got a call from the hospital with a telephone interview. The interviewer asked me a few questions. My scores aren't that great
78 on Step 1 (1st attempt)
80 on Step 2 (2nd attempt)
Pass on CS (1st attempt)
I told them my story. They asked me if I can fly for a face to face interview this friday! So thank you sonia. I appreciate everything you did!
The only thing SONIA lied about is that the hospital is NOT paying for my airfare! but I'm not gonna cry about that. I really appreciate this opportunity for someone to go out of their way to help another person!

I have a similar background
- I am IMG, graduated in 2009, ECFMG certified, passed USMLE step 1 and 2 on the first attempt with the scores of 96 and 99 percentile respectively. I have the following credentials:
- A United States citizen
- 12 Weeks of hands on patient work experience in Internal Medicine and Neurology.
- 6 months of Neurology research experience and participated in two publications.
- two month Clinical Neurology Observership at Baylor Neurology Program, and four months of Pediatric Neurology Observership at Harvard Pediatrics Neurology Program
I spoke to several hospitals and they tell me that I may be their "second" choice. So if I'm 2nd then you're way off.
I know you didn't want to hear this and I wish I could give you positive info but the facts dont lie!
