got a mail from a program:

Dear Candidate,

Thank you for taking the time to interview with our program. We were
very
pleased with your interview and your interest in our program. As per
the
decision of the Housestaff Selection Committee we will rank you very
highly on
our match list.


what does that mean?? GL

i think its perfectly legal for any program to tell u that they will rank you highly... they just can't tell you your exact position on their rank list.

What do you mean, "what does it mean"? Isn't it self explanatory? Either you can believe it wholeheartedly or it's just a way for candidates to rank them high..That's your judgement call.
