I matched in a program that only offers J1 for residency. I am currently working (research) in US on H1 since past few months. Is there anyone who is in similar situation as mine?
I will have to go to India for getting J1 visa as the change of status in US usually takes at least 3 months and we don't have that much time left.

just make sure u understand that after u are done w your program you have to go back Plus it is one of the hardest - or imposible to go to green card
