Swap: J-1 program for an H-1B - jerseyshore

Hello guys, I matched at a great J-1 program in Houston but unfortunately I had applied for a J-1 waiver in the past which makes me ineligible for a new J-1.

If anyone wants to be in a wonderful program in Houston and is OK being on a J-1, we can see if a swap is possible. Please remember- I can only swap if yours is an H-1B program!

? DO you have permission to Swap? Do not the programs themselves decide who is the PGY1?

drfp: As of yet I am not sure about the permission, that's why i said 'we can see if it's possible'. If I have someone willing for this, we can approach the respective programs together and see how it goes.

There is no opening in my program, it's my own position that I want to exchange for my own problem described above.
