Notes on Testicular tumors
Germ cell tumors are MORE COMMON than epithelial cell tumors in male (unlike female)
Germ cell tumors

(1) Seminoma - painLESS; 15-35yo; uniformly brown with lymphoid stroma; cytoplasmic clearing due to glycogen; PAS positive; modest increase in beta hCG; radiosensitive; good prognosis (equivalent to female dysgerminoma)

(2) Embryonal carcinoma - painFUL; aggressive; large, hyperchromatic nuclei; grandular/papillary; +/- increase in AFP, hCG

(3) Yolk sac/endodermal tumor - yellow, mucinous; MC testicular tumor in infants
