pathology residency in US for IMG - dharshan

is that very difficult for IMG to get pathology residency in US?
if do they get get,in which states in US?
if anyone know,pls reply.

It is not difficult but it is competitive. there are a group of IMG friendly programs (see the applicantguide website) where IMGs match every year. you need good scores and if you have some experience in this domain it will increase your chances.

looking at last match its quite good only a few people didnt match, but they say its slowly gaining popularity, and prematch is out of the question this year.

im looking to match for path also, my prob is that im doing everything i can to get an observership in pathology here in NY, the only prob is that nobody offers path observership in here also in research.
