ERAS application - "Experience"???? - docfromnj
#1
I was just wondering, for the ERAS application. Under EXPERIENCE, do I list medical school rotations? Or is this section only for work done OUTSIDE of medical school?

It means work experience, and not the clinical rotations.

dont u worry. Any work experience outside US, is not given importance.

That is not true at all...
In most of my interviews they asked about my experience that was in my application in my home country.
Everything counts... it is just like the lors from outside the US, they count as well.

Do not forget volunteer experience. I did some things for a semi-professional choir in my home country and I did get asked about that!
Americans (I live here 8 years) like people who volunteer for good causes in the community.
I assume you are not long out of med school. Intelligent PDs know how to read your application right. Usually they want you to be goodSmile

actually I'm an IMG that did all my clinical rotations in the USA. But still, I don't list any of those under experience, correct?
