good morning

I am starting first aid revision , i want to update my progress here in this thread to motivate myself,
target : 12 days , completion of FA
along with Pathoma and UW 1block / day

i already did gen path in pathoma , so will start hematology today ,,,,

started hemostasis in pathoma , and also few questions from UW , thinking to complete one UW block review with hemostasis in the next 3 hrs

summary of primary hemostasis -

platelet dense granules release ADP, alpha granules relese vWF , and COX helps form TXA2///
endothelial cells release vWF from W-P bodies , also endothelin which helps in first stage of vasoconstriciton

stage 1 - vasoconstriction of damaged vessel
stage 2 - platelet adhsion
stage 3- platelet degranulation
stage 4- platelet aggregation - formation of WEAK platelet plug

what drug inhibit plt aggregn/adhesion?
whats the receptor involed in glanzmans thrombasthenia?
whats the MOA of aspirin?

glanzman - gp1b receptor of platelet which binds to vWF
MOA aspirin - irreversible cox 1,2 inhibitor
drug inhibitior or platelet aggregation - inhibitor of gp2b3a - abciximab
i dont know what inhibits platlaet adhesion ?
