Why would you do that?
No. Apply to all programs where your qualifications meet their criteria.

Well not really. Just apply to the programs that you think are most suitable for you.

There are many programs like don't like IMGs but like Carib students and vice versa. There is programs like hate both and other like like both.

YOG and USCE if programs request that in their criteria, that usually means they aren't flexible.
If they make it a point to mention it, then they usually want to discourage others from applying. Not to say that your application will automatically be thrown out, but you wanna exercise extra caution when applying for programs where you do not fit the criteria you can't just assume they are flexible. You have to fit into one of their options.

Just apply as far and wide as you can possible afford. Carib grads are not really sought after however the pluses they have are they overwhelming american and have 2 years of USCE.

When you search and filter out programs make sure you check of scores, YOG, USCE . If a site actually took the time to post the info then they do care.

You have 2 more months to research this stuff.

Start with a list of every program in the state you want apply to, then go to their website one by one, then start eliminating them from the list if you do not fit in their criteria.

Hi,

We have research positions available in different states and in different (sub)specialties which include cardiology, endocrinology, pulmonary, surgery, sleep medicine, and neurology. The states include PA, NY, IL, MI, MD and TX at this point. The majority of the positions are in universities, and some of them are in universities that are among the top 10 in the U.S. You can contact us for details.
If you're looking for a different state or (sub)specialty, we can help too. We just need you to be specific and help us understand what you’re looking for.

If interested, contact us at usresearchexp. Provide some brief info about yourself, your visa status, your USMLE scores, what (sub)specialty, which state, when you want to start and for how long.
In the subject, please mention what you’re looking for. For example: “Endocrine research in Chicago.”

We can provide a list of references if you would like.

Thank you.
