In my personal photo submitted to ERAS, I'm wearing a shirt, not a suit. Sorry about this question, but would it look less professional?

You can update the pic on ERAS I am sure but if you are wearing a nice shirt, I see no problems with that. Trust me the decision of your selection will not be based on your picture unless you look like a complete monster.

Many pictures I have seen of some of my friends have been in suits or other formal wear. A nice shirt and tie would work too.

But also, hospital recommends the green borat bikini suit would work and also a mustache. Nothing like a nice gentlemans mustache to prove your worth. Many powerful men in society had mustaches including Albert Einstein.
