Is there any minimum number of candidates a program has to rank? Does anybody know anything about this, please share your thoughts and knowledge. Thx

ob ny prgram will rank 40, only 3 positions

It depends a lot...
University of Texas, Family Practice, will rank 40 for 12 positions, according to the program coordinator.
Columbus, Georgia, Family Practice, will rank everyone they interview... according to the residents (that is a pretty bad sign).

I was just trying analyze the whole "match game" How it will work. Which obg NY program you are reffering to papsmear?
