For Tx of STEMI, are there any conditons where we prefer thrombolysis over PCI.
OR thrombolysis is only 2nd option when PCI is not available. what about left bundle branch block.??

tpa is the answer when q. stem mentions patient is in a place where pci is unavailable (aka rural locale) .. if pt. presents to ER > you have 90 minutes to perform PCI (if available)

PCI must be performed within 90 minutes of arrival at ER for STEMI
>> If unable .. give tPA

Criteria for tPA:
>> Chest pain < 12 hrs & ST elevation in 2 or 2+ leads
>> New LBBB
>> Must be given within 30 mins of ER arrival with pain
