Can someone tell me if I can claim the fee for application in my tax. I have claimed for step one and two and I received six hundred boxes back. Thanks.

if you did it successfully for step1 and 2, then it should work this time also.

I just tell the person filling out the tax but I request in advance receipt of the money I spent for my exam from ecfmg . I still have those document ready in case they ask for verification

AFAIK, exam and application fees are not tax deductible...

Are you sure. I got six hundred and eighty dollars for my first two steps.

there was a saying if the expenses for application is beyond 2% of your annual gross income, then it may be tax deductible. true?

At least I 'll claim step three for sure. One you work in the US you can claim it

you have to be a working physician already in order to claim those expenses as tax deductible, or even better, credit
