No, they will not find out what number you put them at. However, programs that did rank you will know which hospital you matched to.

At doctor777 no they do ..... NRMP gives a report to the programs where you matched at. So they can tell if you are a lier if you tell them that they are number 1 before match day.

This is completely confidential information.
No one would bother comparing rank list and other information to find out is somebody was lier.

As far as I understand it, programs don't know WHERE you ranked them, but if they included you on their rank list, they will know which HOSPITAL you ended up at. From there, it's possible to deduce how you ranked them.

For example, if you emailed a program that you are their #1, and they ranked you high enough you match there but come match day you match somewhere else, they will know you did NOT rank them high enough to match/know you're a liar.
