hi u said in one post that u did research and observership
could u pls tell me wether u did both at the same time? is it possible to do research job in the morning and observership in evening.

it all depends on how much time you have.
i have seen that we can do observership on some days of the week and clinical research on others. you hsould have contacts in the hospital and of, course ride to get there.
well you can start with contacting the Medical Education departent of hospitals. if they say that they dont have any observers or give you time which is too late in the year for you, then you should contact local physician who have privileges in the hospital. you can do observers in their private clinic and then accompany the doctor to the hospital when he goes do do his/her rounds... this worked for me. you can contact physicians who are of your nationality( i am presuming here that you are a IMG) ..
try volunteering in the clinical research department. they might allow you to get invloved in some studies.
