did not match...had 2 iv in IM
238/236/cs/2007/MS/1 publication/2 yrs research/6 m observership/need visa. don't know what else i should do to increase my chances in the next match. Emotionally drained out.

I did not match. I have less than average scores. 1 year observership, 1 month externship, 6 months research, no visa needed. I got 2 interviews. I am not shocked since my chances were low, yet I am very sad since this is my second match.

250/238/1st/217/4 month obs/2 abstracts + 5 posters/no gap in CV/2013 grad/need visa. Dunno wat to do? Please suggest!!!

220s/ 230s / 220s. YOG 2009. Cs second attempt. NO visa requirement. 1 yr USCE. NO MATCH. Had a total of 5 ivs. 2 were prematch and ROL was only 3 programs. Kind of prepared myself for this but it still hurts. I am not going to apply next year because I won't be able to add anything significant to my CV. I have already given step3 and had plenty of USCE . Next year my chances will be worse because my YOG will be 7 years off. Perhaps i will try to do a masters from a university and get a job. The worst part is that we have nothing to show for all this time, money and commitment. Giving the steps and getting ECFMG certificate doesn't get you a job. Its not a diploma or degree...I wish I had gone for a masters earlier. At least you have a qualification in your hand. For those with a recent YOG I would suggest trying again but those with old YOG like mine should forget about it. Many congrats to all those who matched.

@ CESAR DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHICH PATH SHOULD WE TAKE AS AN OLD GRADUATE I AM IN THE SAME BOAT.
ARE THERE ANY BETTER CHANCES IN UK ? OR ANY ALTERNATE PATHWAYS THAT ONE CAN EXPLORE IN USA

Old Img practiced for 10 yrs in home country,cleared step 3 , one year USCE , this is my 3rd match got only one IV , which is a prematch. Didn't match. Planning to do research, but still no hopes. Also doing a course in medical coding ,at least to get a job. Any other options available at this time ...any inputs...pls.
