where do you come up with these dumb statistics? do everyone a favor and keep these made up numbers to yourself!

@sponge, I found this dumb statistic from last year SOAP result. Be realistic.

first you would have to separate img with visa vs nonvisa. Next, the number doesnt mean anything. I applied to 129 programs and got 3 interviews so it means 2.3% change of getting an interview but i still applied, got the interviews and matched! I have friends who are unmatched and come read this stuff here only to become discouraged, it doesnt do them any good!

@spongebobb unfortunately those stats are correct according to NRMP stats. And you cant compare the Match to SOAP they are very different processes. And the NRMP stats data does already separate IMG into US IMG and visa seeking IMG. Please go on NRMP website and check out the stats you will see it all there.

Whether is 1% chance of matching of 99.9% chance of matching, it doesnt matter now.

All one can do is apply. I thank god i matched this year. But to all those that are struggling:
