very old graduate! - ecg101
#1
Hello All,

Based on my scenario below, I am asking for your insights for a hypothetical situation:

- Very old graduate (1990)
- MPH with 15+ years of US work experience (epidemiologist, federal employee for ~5 yrs); made some contacts
- Diploma in Cardiology (UK)
- ~20+ US publications (journals/abstracts/posters) in public health arena
- Hypothetical scores (plan to write steps in ~2 yrs): Both Step I & II: (3-digit score: ~235, old 2-digit: ~95+)

My question: Do I have a reasonable chance of getting an IM residency (plan to apply for matching in 2016)?

Thanks in advance.
