D - lack of dynein arms causes immotility of flagellated structures in the body e.g spermstozoa. it could also cause lossof function of mucocilliary transport in the airway???

A 69 y/o ready to be discharge TODAY 9/19/14 after treatment of COPD. Other med problem of pat HTN & stable angina. His renal function at norm. He received the influenza vac 1yr ago & pneumococcal vac 2 yrs ago. He quit smoking 19 months ago. Vaccination best strategy for the pat?

Criterias pertinent to question;

Influenza vaccine: Everyone yearly

Pnemo Vacc: One vaccination above 65y/o but if immunocompromised (here with COPD- must be taking steroids) revaccination needed after 5 years
Now the pt is 69 he took pneumovac 2 yrs back that is when he was 67

So vaccination strategy would be Influenza only and revaccination with pneumo vac when he will be 72 (67+5)
