A 66 y/o F presents with a ~ 40 days of history of yellow sclera and skin, epigastric pain and anorexia. Pat past medical history is significant for DM1. She smoked 1 pack of cigarettes a day for the past 22 yrs. PE reveals a palpable gallbladder and jaundice
Lab show;
Serum bilirubin: 10 mg/dL/mostly in the conjugated
Alkaline phosphatase: 260 U/L

A CT scan of the abdomen show a mass in the head of the pancreas/& multiple nodules in the liver measuring up to 3 cm.

Most likely cause of jaundice in this pat?

a)Cholelithiasis
b)Intrahepatic cholestasis
c)Cirrhosis
d)Hemolysis
e)Extrahepatic biliary obstruction
