I notice a lot of posts mentioning that one has a position for next year and needs a Prelim. year now.
How does one get a position for next year? Where are those positions listed? Help please if you can.

They would have got offered an advanced position like in advance radiology or a 2nd year position like for neuro when u do 1 yr of prelim or transitional and then enter the field u wnat. Hope that helps.

advanced position means the position will start next year i.e. start in 2007 for 2006 match.
It is PGY-2 position since it needs 1 year residency(either prelim or transitional med) before starting. |
