Official 2015 MATCH thread - u_mad_bro
#71
2010 grad
238/243/pass/step3 ( all first attempt)/ Gc
2nd year applying
Had just 3 invites IM
Matched!!! By the grace of Allah

My two cents: if opportunity doesn't knock build a door!!!

Try to get as much USCE as you can. Work on your Eras CAf, personal statement and try to get strong lors...
It takes just 1 interview to match but having the insight of one's weakness is very important. Because its not our ability that limits us, but rather vision.

And having faith in Allah is the key.

Matched!!!

Second year applying. Changes to my CV: added ongoing externship, ongoing observership, participation in research (research assistant)

204/225 (2nd attempt)/pass/211

Grad 2013

To all those who did not match: have faith to believe in yourself; work to improve your CV in a meaningful way; practise your interview skills; create connections that could mean LORs or other opportunities in the future!

If you really want to match you will fight for the opportunity!!
