Old IMG & confused - fordmd

YOG 2004- 233,238, CS second attempt & 219- Green card holder- punch of USCE with US LoRs
had 5 ivs but did not match in IM
live in VA which is absolutely Non IMG friendly, Have acceptance of admission for MPH at Virginia Tech for the fall of 2015.

what should I do? I need arrangement to my chaotic situation whether to leave this state and move to other one!! , take the MPH and apply this year!! , or what is the best advice

I need research and externship in hospital that gives some hope

Please guide, advise and enlighten me

what can you do with an mph and what jobs can you get???

im confused also, dont know if i should pursue residency again or look for different options ala mph...

Being living in VA has nothing to do with your situation as you should have applied to many programs allover the country. I believe MPH is going to help. Go for it and good luck!

By starting MPH next fall, you would not have completed even one semester by the time you apply for next match in September; so it won't be helpful in that regard. I think best is to do research experience in a hospital; this gives you both research experience and the potential for clinical experience.
