you will have chances but try to complete CS in first attempt and try to look for IM specialty also get hands-on rotations to make the application strong.

Complete Step3 exam and complete CS exam, get hands-on rotations in the specialty you want to match.

I have higher scores than you, for some reason I did not match last year, I still don't know. I have invested thousands of dollars in the matching process alone.

@lakshminair489: Agree with what everyone has written. I was an old IMG as well and finally matched in 2015.

Passing CS and Step 3 on first attempt with good scores in Step 3 helps as well as making contacts during observerships and attending conferences.

Apply broadly to IM, FM and Peds.
