There is roger washington's clinic in santa clara, california, offer externship, which is a hands on clinical experience.
I did there & it was very much helpful to me.
I would suggest you to do this.

You need to write a your letter on intent (on the provided e mail address ) first.
Letter of intent is what you want to achieve by doing externship, its a formal application letter in 10-15 sentences.

apart from that you can attach your scores, any other clinical experience & research publication ( if any) that will enhance your chance of getting selected.
