captopril is an ace-I so it will prevent conversion of angiotensin 1 to angiotensin 2.. renin and ag 1 will increase
inderal is propanolol - its a non selective beta blocker ..since b1 is the one that has an effect on kidney by increasing renin release. The blocker will inhibit renin release...

only I can add this one : indral can decrease BP only in high renin HTN and some normal renin HTN pts .not effective in low renin state.
