A 24 y/o F present with complain of feels feverish for the past 48hrs has had nausea, vomiting and severe lower abdominal pain. Her temp: 103.2 F/39.5C. On exam reveals adnexal tenderness, a mucopurulent cervical discharge, and tenderness upon cervical motion. She says she has had unprotected intercourse with at least a dozen men since she left home at the age of 17 but never has contracted a STD, a fact she attributes to her instinctive ability to only have relations with high class clean men.
Dx?

a) Lymphogranuloma venereum
b) Haemophilus ducreyi
c) Treponema pallidum
d) Chlamydia trachomatis
e) Granuloma inguinale
f) Herpes simplex virus-2
g) Neisseria gonorrhea
h) Onchocerca

I got it...the answer is D.. Chlamydia Trachomatis.... Is the most common STD...it causes cervical motion tenderness, purulent discharge the most serious complication is PID...
