time since getting ecfmg certification influence - olegk01
#1
hi guys,
I looked over some statistical data at the nrmp website, and I saw that they are mentioning the average time passed since ecfmg certified till applicant got accepted to a residency program. Does any one is it really makes a difference on your application when viewed by program directors. I already done step 1 and 2ck and thinking of postponing the 2cs. because of family issues I wont be able to apply till 2020-21, and I'm graduating next year.
thanks and best of luck

I think COntacts make the biggest difference and despite the advice people give Medical Assisting work is at times the best way to get US hands on patient experience and build contacts. This demoralizing crap people talk about while not prestigious many US Programs want humble people not "Blow Hard Know it alls"

So you have 6 years to complete step three or you will then have to repeat the steps and increase your record of attempts...............yes thats the down side of that 7 year thing

Better to get the package together and finish step 3

LORs US and in Specialty you want to match
PS
USCE
