I don't think so if there are any free externship.. may b an observership can b for free but free externship I don't think so..
if possible try contacting some of the physicians and see if they will allow you to work with them.

yeah contact me there r few programs in washington dc area. i think neurology internal medicine and few others. program coordinator had offered me but i went for new york and atlanta programs. mail id is arvinpatel1988

yeah usmle239 is right but problem is no one will even contact back. you can also conact hospitals directly as they have programs. harvard charges 5000usd per month.
