The MD - NP program is hosted by Lehman College up here in the Bronx, is 3.5 years in length (we're in the process of cutting it to 3), does not require USMLE's, is 15,000-20,000 dollars per year (according to Lehman as per semester), with loans available through Lehman college. At the end of the first year you will attain status of RN, and in the remaining 2.5 years, you will attain your bachelors and Masters in nursing. Classes are in the evenings, allotting time for work experience in the mornings, and work opportunities may be available (though not guaranteed) through Essen Medical. Placement will depend on availability.
There are certain tests also associated with the program to determine eligibility, HESI and Challenge exams, to evaluate English proficiency and proficiency in certain science topics. Dates of these tests are determined by Lehman per semester.
