I understand that you are upset that you did not match and I know what that feels like because I have been there more than once. But there is no way for you to know exactly what someone else is bringing to the table. Maybe they interviewed better, have better letters, have a personality that is a better fit for the program. These are all things that matter. Just because it did not happen for you this time does not mean it wont next time. Keep a positive attitude and work on improving your app.
