d&c or iv estrogen

IV Estrogen is the best next step, it help immediately stop bleeding so control hypovolumic shock
When pt 's stable, u can get endometrial bx in cas peri-or post menopaused woman ( no need bx in teenager)

D&C is the next best choice. Why cause more bleeding doing D&C. We already have a hypotensive pt.

estrogen first /biopsy next

in milder bleeding you can start ocp and later follow up and biopsy or you can give estrogen for 2 weeks and progesterone 1 week and let it to have wihdrawal bleeding and once cycle is allright usually after 3 month and biopsy have been done you can stop the drug and most of time things are gonna be fine meaning cycle becomes ovulatory/
