Bb, can't do any hormones because of her SSD. You an dive IUD even that she never had kids, it is totally fine

progesteron only methods are the first line for women with sickle cell disease as they lower thromboembolic risk compared to estrogen containing methods and generally do not worsen anemia.the progesteron releasing IUD is the best choice as it gradually decreases monthly blood loss.
