asterixis happens as high ammonia accumulates in brain (says in FA) or it accumulates in peripheral nerves too? perhaps both...thanks

Tinea : Various dermatophytes named after their preferred residence on your body.

body? : corporis
groin folds?: cruris
Foot?: pedis
Nails?: Unguium


Exception: Tinea versicolor ( pityriasis) it is not a dermatophyte. lipids breakdown produces fatty acide that are toxic to melanocytes. under microscope spaghetti and meatball.
