dicoid lupus in detail as i dont know about it....so want to know about it.

discoid lupus is a localised type of sle and there will be dicoid shaped lesion especilly in face which are plaque like . ear scalp with hair loss and oral cavity may be involved----but systemic signs should be absent --if present that will be called sle --so it is just a low grade disese --hypocomplementemia may go in favour of sle andd ana will be positive in both but if double stranded dna is positive diagnosis goes in favor of sle
