IF step 3 not help - drpha

Last year I didn't take step 3 and got 2 interview. This year I cleared step 3 but not any.So what will be next option for very old graduates? Please help!

my scores are 220s with multiple attempts only on CS

Thanks for posting this. I thought i am alone in this situation. I did step 3 and my scores are 230s and step 3 in 220s and i got 1 this year. I do not know what to do

Let me clear your situation . It depends on your score in step 3 . I f you have a good high score in step 3 , it would help you to achieve interviews . Having step3 doesn't help much . If score is low range that could not add any strength to your profile . It's like a double edge sword . I got this information from a resident where I am doing observership now . Hope everything is clear now .

Thank you all for suggestions. but now what more things to do? I have observer ship, and externship experience and work in physician office.

May be research in the same feild with few abstracts and try some contacts or try to ask some residents or faculty members to push your application at least up to PD . I won't assure you getting interviews by this method but I can say your application will not get filtered out electronically . In case in future if someone drops may be they may see your application . We don't know even in January some people got interviews . Having 1-2 IVS changed so many students lives . Just be positive

what is considered a good score in step3. I saw ppl last year matched with 205
