please kindly advice. my exam is in 3 weeks. i did nbme yesterday and got 219. should i go ahead with the dates or shift the exam?

hmmm. I was thinking if I study my weak points and do uwsa, then i can decide to postpone it. I am working towards getting the result before Sep 15th application

@lamonti-ppl seem to say 400 is safe to pass Step 3 but this chart says a score of 400 is equivalent to 192!!! Ive read some ppl posting scores of around 400 getting over 210 (cant remember for sure but somewhere between 210-215) I believe.

@goinghigher2-where did you find the corresponding 3 digit score for NBME?

Sorry, the mean on the NBME is 500 with a SD of 100. Anyone know what the current mean and SD is on the current test? Littledoc can you help us with this?

Sure tklerts..My score report mentions mean of 225 with SD of 15.

Thanks littledoc. I saw a post on studentdoc of someone getting 400 on NBME a week before the test and getting 229 on the real thing.

@tklerts my score was reported as 490. then i checked its equivalent in 3-digit on their step 2 nbme reports.
