If I update personal statement now, will PD be able to see my the update version to the already applied programs? or I have to assign again to the respective programs. please let me know any kind person

I called ERAS regarding this question and they said once you save it the program can only see the updated version and nothing else unless its already downloaded.

No need to reassign if you just edited your saved PS. However, if you made a new one or saved a new one then you need to assign that new PS.

There is no more downloading of applications. It will automatically be updated.

Some progs print your application- CV, LoR, USMLE transcript etc... the documents that you submitted when they printed out your application will be the ones that they will review.

If the old PS was the one printed then that will be the PS that they will read. But if they go check it in ERAS, what they will see is the updated one.
